WHO IS TIA EVETTE?
Tia Evette: Visionary and Creator
I'm Tia Evette, born in the South Bronx, with years of history in Texas, and now residing in Atlanta, Georgia. My early years were always steeped in the performing arts. I started as a rapper/MC, recording my first song at the age of four for a Malcolm McLaren project with R&B singer Angie Stone from the hit group Sequence. I've always had a love and passion for the performing arts and bringing people together through arts. At 17, I produced my first of many concerts, with my entertainment company raising funds to help implement better programs within the local YMCA in Texas. Reintroducing myself to the world, and I'm doing so as follows:
Armed with a film school degree, I'm a force to be reckoned with in the world of visual storytelling. From captivating scripts to awe-inspiring cinematography, I bring dreams to life on the silver screen.
But that's not all! I'm also a talented songwriter. With music as my medium, I express emotions, inspire change, and connect souls.
Additionally, as a film and TV producer, I am skilled as a creative director and an artistic leader behind live events such as concerts, festivals, and their artists.
And let's not forget—I am a dope ass choreographer. I’ve been dancing since I was four and owned/operated a dance studio for 25 years! I’m a Hip Hop enthusiast and the daughter of the legendary MC Sha-Rock, the first female rapper/MC and a founding member of Hip Hop culture.
Above all, I'm just a dope, loyal human being, ready to conquer the world one creative endeavor at a time, and always willing to collaborate if the energy is right.
